About the book: There are a number of books that focus on dealing with past issues. The common themes seem to be forgiveness and acceptance. While these messages are a necessary part of the process, they aren’t very practical. Forgiving someone is cathartic and often makes the forgiver feel better about themselves, but they can’t effectively use it to overcome the underlying issues.
