About Liza:

Liza is a performer and arts educator proudly serving as Director of Theater Education at the CM Performing Arts Center, the very place that first sparked a love of theater in her life. Having grown up in CMPAC’s youth and teen programs, she experienced firsthand the confidence, creativity, and sense of belonging that arts education can provide.

After earning a BFA in Musical Theater from Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Liza returned with a passion for mentoring young performers and creating inclusive, supportive spaces where every student feels seen, encouraged and celebrated. With experience working closely with children, and families, she is dedicated to ensuring the next generation finds the same inspiration and home at CMPAC that once shaped her own journey.

About Sarah:
Sarah Minto was raised in the CM Educational Program. When she was 7 years old, she started in the CM Kids classes. She never missed a session during the school year or a summer camp. She continued through CM Teens and was excited to become a CIT (Counselor in Training). Sarah is now the acting teacher for all the CM Kids, Juniors, and dance teacher for the Teens. She recently graduated from St Joseph’s University with a degree in Child Studies. She started her full-time career as an elementary school teacher at a local school. Sarah loves helping her students build confidence while having a great time learning all things. Her favorite musical is Legally Blonde.

KRISTI WOERNER

Kristi has been a public school General Music and Chorus teacher for twenty years. She loves working with students of all ages, helping them grow to love a variety of styles of music. She encourages confidence through excellence, and camaraderie through respect.

She studied musical theater at SUNY Fredonia, and music education at West Chester University. She is thrilled to come back to the theater to guide students to find their own passion and creativity.
