CM Performing Arts Center Celebrates 35th Anniversary Gala

BY BRENDAN NOBLE

This past October, the CM Performing Arts Center celebrated the culmination of our 35th Anniversary with our 35th Anniversary Gala. The event was held at Shandon Court in East Islip. If you’re looking for a great place to throw a party, we highly recommend! The night was full of fun, laughter, and live music from The 1984 Band, fronted by CM Generations members Ryan Nolin and Diana Romano.

The evening honored individuals, including yours truly, who during the 35 years of CM’s History have answered the call of CM’s Mission Statement and have helped keep Noel’s Impossible Dream a reality, especially during these trying times navigating through a global pandemic. In addition to receiving CM Star awards, Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter surprised all of the honorees with a citation from the town of Islip thanking them for their commendable efforts here at CM Performing Arts.

We are excited to be entering our 36th year with Season 50 and look forward to celebrating again in 5 years for our 40th Anniversary!
