CM Teens: Empowering Young Performers

Unlock Your Teen’s Potential in Theater!  The CM Teens program at CM Performing Arts Center offers a comprehensive theater experience for teens aged 13-19. Our experienced staff guide students through all aspects of theater production, from auditions to final performances.

Throughout the years, our CM Teens have put on such shows as The Wedding Singer, All Shook Up, Les Miserables, High School Musical, Pippin, The Little Mermaid and many more fantastic productions.

  • Rehearsals are scheduled within Mondays & Wednesdays 5PM-7:30PM, as well as Sundays 10AM-1PM (Individual rehearsal schedule is based on role.)
  • Rehearsals start Wednesday, May 28th at 5PM (Auditions for all parts and ensemble will be held on the first day of rehearsal.  All teens MUST BE registered prior to auditioning.  Everyone who auditions will be cast in the production.)
  • Tech Week: The Week of July 21st
  • Performance Dates: Friday, July 25th at 7:30PM, Saturday, July 26th at 8:00PM, Sunday, July 27th at 6:00PM
  • Cost: $550 due in full by Wednesday May 28th.  (Children of Active Duty Military are eligible for 20% Discount. Contact the Box Office at 631-218-2810 for Assistance)
  • Refund Policy: Registrations may be canceled up to and including the first day of rehearsal for a $100 cancellation fee.  From day two of rehearsals up to and including day four of rehearsals the cancellation fee is $200.  After the fourth rehearsal all fees are non-refundable.  Please note that the day of auditions counts as the first day of rehearsals.

Frequently Asked Questions

A limited number of work-study partial scholarships are available for the CM Teens program.  Work-study jobs are assigned by the Executive Director as available and may include office work, spotlight operation, or other theatrical areas.

Registration is required in order to Audition with a Non Redundable $100 Deposit.

Auditions will be held on the first day of classes.  The remaining tuition is due at the first rehearsal, unless a payment plan has been set up.Â
