Unlock Your Teen’s Potential in Theater!  The CM Teens program at CM Performing Arts Center offers a comprehensive theater experience for teens aged 13-18. Our experienced staff guide students through all aspects of theater production, from auditions to final performances.

Throughout the years, our CM Teens have put on such shows as The Wedding Singer, All Shook Up, Les Miserables, High School Musical, Pippin, The Little Mermaid and many more fantastic productions.

  • Rehearsals are scheduled within Mondays & Wednesdays 5PM-7:30PM, as well as Sundays 10AM-1PM (Other classes may be added during the semeseter based on need and availability. Individual rehearsal schedule is based on role.)
  • Rehearsals start Monday, May 18 at 5PM (Auditions for all parts and ensemble will be held on the first day of rehearsal.  All teens MUST BE registered prior to auditioning.  Everyone who auditions will be cast in the production.)
  • Tech Rehearsals: July 19 – 25 (Tech Week rehearsals are on more days and longer times than standard rehearsal time. Exact days and times of rehearsals during Tech Week are TBD)
  • Performance Dates:
    Sunday July 26th at 7pm,
    Wednesday July 29th at 2pm,
    Thursday July 30th at 7:30pm,
    Friday July 31st at 7:30pm,
    Sunday August 2nd at 7pm,
    Wednesday August 5th at 2pm,
    Thursday August 6th at 7:30pm,
    Saturday August 8th at 2pm
  • Possible add on Performances based on demand

  • Cost: $575 (If registered by May 1st using the Early Bird Promo Code: CMTSUMMER26)

  • Registration includes access to a professionally taken photo album of production photos from the show.
  • Refund Policy: Registrations may be canceled up to and including the second day of the production’s rehearsals for a $50 cancellation fee.  From the third production rehearsal up to and including the fourth production rehearsal, the cancellation fee is $200.  After the fourth production rehearsal all fees are non-refundable.  Please note that the day of auditions counts as the first day of the production’s rehearsals.

Frequently Asked Questions

A limited number of work-study partial scholarships are available for the CM Teens program.  Work-study jobs are assigned by the Executive Director as available and may include office work, spotlight operation, or other theatrical areas.

Registration is required in order to Audition with a Non Redundable $100 Deposit.

Auditions will be held on the first day of classes.  The remaining tuition is due at the first rehearsal, unless a payment plan has been set up.
